RESEARCH CREDIT.

SEC. 11402. RESEARCH CREDIT. (a) Extension.— Subsection (h) of section 41 (relating to credit for increasing research activities) is amended— (1) by striking “December 31, 1990” each place it appears and inserting “December 31, 1991”, and (2) by striking “January 1, 1991” each place it appears and inserting “January 1, 1992”. (b) Conforming Amendments.— (1) Subsection (a) of section 7110 of the Revenue Reconciliation Act of 1989 is amended by striking paragraph (2). (2) Subparagraph (D) of section 28(b)(l) is amended by striking “December 31, 1990” and inserting “December 31, 1991”. (c) Effective Date.— The amendments made by this section shall apply to taxable years beginning after December 31, 1989.
