SEC. 10205. NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF STANDARDS AND TECHNOLOGY COST RECOVERY STUDY. (a) The Secretary of Commerce shall undertake a study of current practices at, and any suggested improvements consistent with the mission of, the National Institute of Standards and Technology for recovering the costs of services and materials provided to private and nonprofit organizations, including services provided on a proprietary basis to users of Institute facilities. (b) The Secretary shall submit a report containing such findings to the Congress within 6 months after the date of enactment of this Act.
