SEC. 623. DEATH GRATUITY FOR ROTC GRADUATES.(a) In General.—Section 1475(a)(4) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding “; or a graduate of a reserve officers’ training corps who has received a commission but has yet to receive a first duty assignment; or” at the end.(b) Effective Date.—The amendment under subsection (a) applies to deaths that occur on or after the date of the enactment of this Act.
