SEC. 577. MODIFICATION TO AUTHORITY TO REIMBURSE FOR STATE LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION COSTS OF A SPOUSE OF A SERVICEMEMBER ARISING FROM RELOCATION. Section 476(p) of title 37, United States Code, is amended—(1) in paragraph (1), by striking “armed forces” and inserting “uniformed services”;(2) in paragraph (2), by striking “$500” and inserting “$1,000”;(3) in paragraph (3)—(A) in subparagraph (A), by striking “and”;(B) in subparagraph (B), by striking the period and inserting “; and”; and(C) by adding at the end the following new subparagraph:“(C) an analysis of whether the maximum reimbursement amount under paragraph (2) is sufficient to cover the average costs of relicensing described in paragraph (1).”; and(4) in paragraph (4), by striking “December 31, 2022” and inserting “December 31, 2024”.
