REPORT ON USE OF MAYPORT NAVAL STATION AS HOMEPORT FOR NUCLEAR AIRCRAFT CARRIERS

SEC. 1423. REPORT ON USE OF MAYPORT NAVAL STATION AS HOMEPORT FOR NUCLEAR AIRCRAFT CARRIERS Not later than six months after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to Congress a plan for upgrading Mayport Naval Station, Jacksonville, Florida, to provide104 STAT. 1683 that naval station with the capability to be able to service nuclear-powered aircraft carriers and otherwise to serve as a homeport for nuclear-powered aircraft carriers.
