SEC. 1405. STAFFING FOR COPYRIGHT ROYALTY JUDGES PROGRAM.(a) Removal of Cap on Personnel.—Chapter 8 of title 17, United States Code, is amended—(1) in section 802—(A) in subsection (b), by striking “3”; and(B) in subsection (e), by striking paragraph (2) and inserting the following:“(2) Staff members.—Staff members appointed under subsection (b) shall be compensated at a rate not more than the basic rate of pay payable for level 10 of GS–15 of the General Schedule.”; and(2) in section 803(e)(1)(A), by striking “3”.(b) Effective Date.—The amendments made by this section shall take effect with respect to fiscal year 2020 and each fiscal year thereafter.133 STAT. 3209
