SEC. 601. FIREFIGHTER PAY. Section 1701 of division B of the Extending Government Funding and Delivering Emergency Assistance Act (5 U.S.C. 5547 note) is amended—(1) by inserting “or 2022” after “during 2021” each place it appears; (2) in subsection (a)(1), by inserting “and any services during 2022 that generate payments payable in 2023” after “payable in 2022”; and (3) in subsection (b), by inserting “or 2022” after “in 2021”.
