SEC. 50145. TRIBAL ENERGY LOAN GUARANTEE PROGRAM.(a) Appropriation.—In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to the Secretary for fiscal year 2022, 136 STAT. 2046 out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $75,000,000, to remain available through September 30, 2028, to carry out section 2602(c) of the Energy Policy Act of 1992 (25 U.S.C. 3502(c)), subject to the limitations that apply to loan guarantees under section 50141(d). (b) Department of Energy Tribal Energy Loan Guarantee Program.—Section 2602(c) of the Energy Policy Act of 1992 (25 U.S.C. 3502(c)) is amended—(1) in paragraph (1), by striking “) for an amount equal to not more than 90 percent of” and inserting “, except that a loan guarantee may guarantee any debt obligation of a non-Federal borrower to any Eligible Lender (as defined in section 609.2 of title 10, Code of Federal Regulations)) for”; and (2) in paragraph (4), by striking “$2,000,000,000” and inserting “$20,000,000,000”.
