EXCLUSION OF OFFICERS SERVING AS LEAD SPECIAL TRIAL COUNSEL FROM LIMITATIONS ON AUTHORIZED STRENGTHS FOR GENERAL AND FLAG OFFICERS.

SEC. 506. EXCLUSION OF OFFICERS SERVING AS LEAD SPECIAL TRIAL COUNSEL FROM LIMITATIONS ON AUTHORIZED STRENGTHS FOR GENERAL AND FLAG OFFICERS. During the two-year period beginning on the date of the enactment of this Act, the limitations in section 526a(a) of title 10, United States Code, as amended by section 504, shall not apply to a general or flag officer serving in the position of lead special trial counsel pursuant to an appointment under section 1044f(a)(2) of such title.
