DEFINITIONS.

SEC. 5537. DEFINITIONS. In this part:(1) Appropriate congressional committees.—For the purposes of this part, the term “appropriate congressional committees” means—(A) the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate; (B) the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions of the Senate; (C) the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate; (D) the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives; (E) the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives; and (F) the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives. (2) Center.—The term “Center” means the Infectious Disease Monitoring Center described in section 5538(a)(2).
