SEC. 303. THE ARTS AMERICA PROGRAM. Section 112(a) of the Mutual Educational and Cultural Exchange Act of 1961 (22 U.S.C. 2460(a)), as amended by section 302, is further amended— (1) by striking out “and” at the end of paragraph (7); (2) by striking out the period at the end of paragraph (8) and inserting in lieu thereof “; and”; and (3) by adding at the end thereof the following new paragraph: “(9) the Arts America program which promotes a greater appreciation and understanding of American art abroad by supporting exhibitions and tours by American artists in other countries.”.
