SEC. 41001. ENERGY STORAGE DEMONSTRATION PROJECTS.(a) Energy Storage Demonstration Projects; Pilot Grant Program.—There is authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary to carry out activities under section 3201(c) of the Energy Act of 2020 (42 U.S.C. 17232(c)) $355,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2022 through 2025. (b) Long-duration Demonstration Initiative and Joint Program.—There is authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary to carry out activities under section 3201(d) of the Energy Act of 2020 (42 U.S.C. 17232(d)) $150,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2022 through 2025.
