SEC. 127. INCLUSION OF COERCIVE POPULATION CONTROL INFORMAT1ON IN ANNUAL HUMAN RIGHTS REPORT. The Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 is amended— (1) in section 116(d) (22 U.S.C. 2151n(d))— (A) by striking out “and” at the end of paragraph (1); (B) by redesignating paragraph (2) as paragraph (3); and (C) by inserting after paragraph (1) the following new paragraph: “(2) wherever applicable, practices regarding coercion in population control, including coerced abortion and involuntary sterilization; and”; and 101 STAT. 1343 (2) in section 502B(b) (22 U.S.C. 2304(b)), by inserting after the first sentence “Wherever applicable, such report shall include information on practices regarding coercion in population control, including coerced abortion and involuntary sterilization.”.
