SEC. 153. PROHIBITION ON SOLICITATION OF PROPRIETARY ARMOR FOR CERTAIN TACTICAL VEHICLES.(a) Prohibition.—The Secretary of Defense may not include in a solicitation for a tactical tracked vehicle or tactical wheeled vehicle a requirement that such vehicle use proprietary armor. (b) Applicability.—Subsection (a) shall not apply to a contract for the procurement of a tactical tracked vehicle or tactical wheeled vehicle entered into before the date of the enactment of this Act.
