SEC. 1013. CONTRACT WEATHER OBSERVERS PROGRAM. Section 2306 of the FAA Extension, Safety, and Security Act of 2016 (Public Law 114–190; 130 Stat. 641) is amended by striking subsection (b) and inserting the following:“(b) Continued Use of Contract Weather Observers.—TheExpiration date. Administrator may not discontinue or diminish the contract weather observer program at any airport until September 30, 2028.” .
