SEC. 107. MONITORING COMPLIANCE. (a) Consumer Product Safety Act.—Section 7(b) (15 U.S.C. 2056(b)) is amended— (1) by inserting “(1)” after “(b)”, and (2) by adding at the end the following: 104 STAT. 3112 “(2) The Commission shall devise procedures to monitor compliance with any voluntary standards— “(A) upon which the Commission has relied under paragraph (1); “(B) which were developed with the participation of the Commission; or “(C) whose development the Commission has monitored.”. (b) Federal Hazardous Substances Act.—Section 3(g) of the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (15 U.S.C. 1262(g)) is amended by adding at the end the following: “(3) The Commission shall devise procedures to monitor compliance with any voluntary standards— “(A) upon which the Commission has relied under paragraph (2) of this subsection; “(B) which were developed with the participation of the Commission; or “(C) whose development the Commission has monitored.”. (c) Flammable Fabrics Act.—Section 4(h) of the Flammable Fabrics Act (15 U.S.C. 1193(h)) is amended by adding at the end the following: (3) The Commission shall devise procedures to monitor compliance with any voluntary standards— “(A) upon which the Commission has relied under paragraph (2) of this subsection; “(B) which were developed with the participation of the Commission; or “(C) whose development the Commission has monitored.”.
