SEC. 2401. DELAYING MEDICAID DSH REDUCTIONS. Section 1923(f)(7)(A) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1396r–4(f)(7)(A)) is amended—(1) in clause (i)—(A) in the matter preceding subclause (I)—(i) by striking “For the period beginning April 1, 2025, and ending September 30, 2025, and for” and inserting “For”; and139 STAT. 46 (ii) by striking “through 2027” and inserting “through 2028”; (B) in subclause (I), by striking “or period”; and (C) in subclause (II), by striking “or period”; and (2) in clause (ii)—(A) by striking “for the period beginning April 1, 2025, and ending September 30, 2025, and”; and (B) by striking “through 2027” and inserting “through 2028”.
