SEC. 601. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. Section 404 of the Asia Foundation Act (22 U.S.C. 4401 et seq.) is amended to read as follows: “SEC. 404. FUNDING. “There is authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary of State $13,700,000 for the fiscal year 1988 and $15,000,000 for the fiscal year 1989 for grants to the Asia Foundation pursuant to this title.”.
