national railroad adjustment board Salaries and expenses: For expenses necessary for the National Railroad Adjustment Board, including stenographic reporting services as authorized by section 15 of the Act of August 2, 1946 (5 U. S. C. 55a), $600,000, of which not more than $460,774 shall be available for personal services and of which not less than $250,000 shall be available for compensation (at rates not in excess of $75 per diem) and expenses of referees appointed pursuant to section 3 of the Railway Labor Act, as amended. This title may be cited as the “National Mediation Board appropriation Act, 1952”.
