REDUCTION OF TAX ON TOBACCO AND SNUFF.

SEC. 423. REDUCTION OF TAX ON TOBACCO AND SNUFF. (a) Reduction in Rate.—Section 2000 (a) (relating to tax on tobacco and snuff) is hereby amended by striking out “18 cents per pound”, wherever it appeal’s therein, and inserting in lieu thereof “10 cents per pound”. (b) Effective Date.—The amendment made by subsection (a) shall take effect on the first day of the first month which begins more than ten days after the date of the enactment of this Act.
