SEC. 1936. FINDINGS AND DECLARATION OF POLICY. Section 302 of the Potato Research and Promotion Act (7 U.S.C. 2611) is amended— (1) in the first paragraph— (A) by inserting “and foreign countries” after “United States” in the first sentence; (B) by inserting “and imported into the United States from foreign countries” after “United States” in the second sentence; and (C) by striking the last sentence; (2) in the second paragraph— (A) in the first sentence— (i) by striking “, in a large part,”; and 104 STAT. 3866 (ii) by inserting “or foreign” after “channels of inter-state”; and (B) by striking the second sentence; and (3) in the fourth paragraph— (A) by inserting “and imported into the United States from foreign countries” after “commercial use”; and (B) by striking at the end thereof “produced in the United States” and inserting “and potato products”.
