SEC. 1945. SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION OF PLANS. Section 315 of the Potato Research and Promotion Act (7 U.S.C. 2624) is amended— (1) in subsection (b)— (A) by inserting “, or of the total number of producers and importers when importers are subject to a plan,” after “potato producers” the first time it appears; (B) by inserting “and importers” after “potato producers” the second time it appears; (C) by inserting “and import” after “produce”; and (D) by striking “by the potato producers voting in the referendum” and inserting “and imported by those voting in the referendum”; and (2) by adding a new subsection (c) to read as follows: “(c) The termination or suspension of any plan, or any provision thereof, shall not be considered the issuance of a plan within the meaning of this part.”.
