Coast Guard operating expenses For an additional amount for “Operating expenses”, $28,000,000: Provided, That limitations under this head in the Treasury Department Appropriation Act, 1952, are changed as follows: Amount that may be expended for recreation, amusement, comfort, and contentment of enlisted personnel of the Coast Guard, increased to “$350,000”; number of aircraft on hand, increased to “one hundred and thirty-seven”; and the number of enlisted personnel of the Coast Guard who may be detailed for duty at Coast Guard Headquarters, increased to “seventy-five”. acquisition, construction, and improvements For an additional amount for “Acquisition, construction, and improvements”, $2,875,000, to remain available until expended; and appropriations granted under this head shall be available for services as authorized by section 15 of the Act of August 2, 1946 (5 U. S. C. 55a).
