Major repairs and preservation of buildings and grounds: For miscellaneous construction, alterations, repairs, and equipment, on the grounds of the hospital, including preparation of plans and specifications, advertising, and supervision of construction, $136,500, to remain available until expended: Provided, That any part of this amount may be transferred to the General Services Administration. Construction and equipment of treatment building: For an additional amount for construction and equipment, including administrative expenses, of a treatment building (providing separate male and female facilities), and demolition and removal of those buildings designated as Oaks and Toner Buildings with their appurtenances and attachments, within the grounds of Saint Elizabeths Hospital, $6,125,000, to remain available until expended, of which not to exceed $300,000 shall be used for the construction, equipment, and furnishing of a chapel: Provided, That any part of this appropriation may be transferred to the General Services Administration.
