GENERAL ACCOUNTING OFFICE Salaries: For personal services, $30,100,000. Miscellaneous expenses: For necessary expenses, including not to exceed $1,062,500 for expenses of travel, $1,960,000. Appropriations for the General Accounting Office shall be available, for newspapers and periodicals (not exceeding $500), and services as authorized by section 15 of the Act of August 2, 1946 (5 U. S. C. 55a). The fourth paragraph under the heading “General Accounting Office” in Public Law 137, approved August 31, 1951 (65 Stat. 274), is amended by changing “two positions in grade GS–18” to “four positions in grade GS–18” and “seven positions in grade GS–16” to “thirteen positions in grade GS–16”.
