SEC. 1834. INSURANCE SERVICES. Section 4.29 (12 U.S.C. 2218) is amended— (1) in subsection (a)(2)— (A) in the first sentence, by inserting before the period at the end the following: “, if more than two insurers for each type of insurance have proposed programs to a bank that will, in all likelihood, have long-term viability and meet the requirements of subsection (b)(2)(D)”; and (B) in the third sentence, by inserting before the period at the end the following: “, if at least two insurers have been approved in accordance with this paragraph”; and (2) in subsection (b)(2)(E), by inserting before the semicolon at the end the following: “, if at least two insurers have been approved in accordance with subsection (a)(2)”.
