SEC. 1836. TERMINATION DATE FOR FARM CREDIT SYSTEM ASSISTANCE BOARD. (a) Use of Insurance Fund.— Section 5.60(c) (12 U.S.C. 2277a–9(c)) is amended— (1) in paragraph (1), by striking “5 years after the date of the enactment of this part” and inserting “January 1, 1993”; and (2) in paragraph (2), by striking “5 years after the date of enactment of this part” and inserting “January 1, 1993”. (b) Powers of Corporation with Respect to Troubled Insured System Banks.— Section 5.61(f) (12 U.S.C. 2277a–10(f)) is amended by104 STAT. 3834 striking “beginning on the date of the enactment of this part” and inserting “prior to January 1, 1993”.
