Sec. 214. Except in the case of the National Guard of the United States and the Air National Guard of the United States, each reserve component shall be divided into training categories according to the 66 Stat. 486 types and degrees of training including the number and duration of drills or equivalent duties to be completed in stated periods of time, as the appropriate Secretary prescribes. The designation of such training categories shall be the same for each Armed Force of the United States and the same within the Ready Reserve and the Standby Reserve.
