Civilian Relief in Korea For expenses, not otherwise provided for, necessary for emergency relief for the civilian population of Korea, including the procurement, operation, maintenance, and distribution of equipment, materials and services for informational and reorientation purposes; travel; and transportation; $58,000,000: Provided, That materials and supplies available to the Department of Defense may be used for the purposes of this appropriation without reimbursement therefor: Provided further, That none of the funds provided under this head shall be used for such purposes in any territory of Korea under Communist control: Provided further, That the unexpended balances of funds previously appropriated under this head shah be merged with this appropriation.
