SEC. 1554. REPORT ON SECTION 22 SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION. (a) Requirement of Report.— If section 22 of the Agricultural Adjustment Act (7 U.S.C. 624) is repealed or all measures proclaimed under such section are suspended, the Secretary of Agriculture shall, prior to the effective date of the suspension or termination of any quantitative limitation or fee in effect under that section, report to the Congress. (b) Contents of Report.— The report under subsection (a) shall assess each material consequence of the lifting of such limitation or fee, including the impact on— (1) the Farmers Home Administration and agricultural credit in general; (2) the prices paid to farmers generally for the affected commodity; and (3) United States food security needs.
