GENERAL ACCOUNTING OFFICE Salaries and expenses: For necessary expenses of the General Accounting Office, including newspapers and periodicals (not exceeding $500), and services as authorized by section 15 of the Act of August 2, 1946 (5 U. S. C. 55a), $31,981,000: Provided, That the fourth paragraph under the heading “General Accounting Office” in Public Law 137, approved August 31, 1951 (65 Stat. 274), as amended by Public Law 455, approved July 5, 1952 (66 Stat. 399), is further amended by changing “four positions in grade GS–18” to “five positions in grade GS–18”, and “thirteen positions in grade GS–16” to “twelve positions in grade GS–16”.
