SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES CONTROL BOARD Salaries and expenses: For necessary expenses of the Subversive Activities Control Board, including services as authorized by section 15 of the Act of August 2, 1946 (5 U. S. C. 55a), not to exceed $12,500 for expenses of travel, and not to exceed $100 for the purchase of newspapers and periodicals, $170,000, together with not to exceed $115,000 of the unobligated balance of funds appropriated for this purpose in the “First Independent Offices Appropriation Act, 1954” and “The Supplemental Appropriation Act, 1954”.
