Sec. 606. The National Committee shall study and review the demand and supply of funds for residential mortgage loans in all parts of the country, and shall receive reports from and correlate the activities of the regional subcommittees. It shall also periodically inform the Commissioner of the Federal Housing Administration and the Administrator of Veterans’ Affairs concerning the results of the studies and of the progress of the National Committee and regional subcommittees in performing their function, and shall to the extent practicable maintain liaison with State and local Government housing officials in 68 Stat. 639 order that they may be fully apprized of the function and work of the National Committee and regional subcommittees. The Administrator shall, not later than April 1 in each year, make a full report of the operations of the National Committee and the regional subcommittees to the Congress.
