SEC. 2018. SENSE OF CONGRESS CONCERNING COOPERATION IN OBJECTIVE TESTING. (a) Finding.— Congress finds that the close cooperative relationship that exists between the Federal Grain Inspection Service, the Agricultural Research Service, and land-grant universities has proven highly beneficial in identifying grain quality related characteristics, developing tests, and designing grain standards. (b) Sense of Congress.— It is the sense of Congress that the cooperative efforts described in subsection (a), including the sharing of funds and personnel, should be expanded, and that the Federal Grain Inspection Service should continue to utilize the research capabilities of the Agricultural Research Service and the land-grant universities in these efforts.
