Waivers of Law.—
Sec. 107. Waivers of Law.— (a) The President may perform any of the functions authorized under this chapter without regard to (1) the provisions of title 10, United States Code, section 1262 (a), and title 34, United States Code, section 546 (e); and (2) such provisions as he may specify of the joint resolution of November 4, 1939 (54 Stat. 4), as amended. (b) Notwithstanding the provisions of Revised Statutes 1222 (10 U. S. C. 576), personnel of the Department of Defense may be assigned or detailed to any civil office for the purpose of enabling the President to furnish assistance under this Act.
