Art. 68. Branch offices
§ 868. Art. 68. Branch offices Whenever the President considers such action necessary, he may direct the Judge Advocate General to establish a branch office, under an Assistant Judge Advocate General, with any distant command, and to establish in that branch office one or more boards of review. That Assistant Judge Advocate General and any such board of review may perform for that command, under the general supervision of the Judge Advocate General, the respective duties which the Judge Advocate General and a board of review in his office would otherwise be required to perform in respect of all cases involving sentences not requiring approval by the President.
