§ 5595. Regular Marine Corps: restriction on appointments of former midshipmen and cadets No person who was a midshipman at the United States Naval Academy or who was a cadet at the United States Military Academy may be appointed in a commissioned grade in the Regular Marine Corps until after the graduation of the class of which he was a member.
