Use for experimental purposes

§ 7306. Use for experimental purposes (a) The Secretary of the Navy, with the approval of the President, may use for experimental purposes any vessel stricken from the Naval Vessel Register under section 7304 of this title, if he determines that it is in the best interest of the United States. (b) The Secretary shall make an annual report to Congress of all vessels used for experimental purposes under this section.
