SEC. 104. FUTURE REPORTS ON THE TONGASS NATIONAL FOREST AND CONSULTATION. (a) Reports.—Section 706(a) of ANILCA (16 U.S.C. 539e(a)) is amended by striking the second sentence. Section 706(b) of ANILCA (16 U.S.C. 539e(b)) is amended as follows: (1) Strike “and (4)” and insert in lieu thereof “(4)”. (2) Strike the period at the end of the subsection and insert “, and (5) the impact of timber management on subsistence resources, wildlife, and fisheries habitats.”. (b) Consultation.—Section 706(c) of ANILCA (16 U.S.C. 539e(c)) is amended by striking “and the Alaska Land Use Council” and inserting in lieu thereof “the southeast Alaska commercial fishing industry, and the Alaska Land Use Council.”.
