Construction of Ships The limit on the total of obligations which may be incurred under this head for construction, conversion, or replacement, approved after July 17, 1947, is reduced from “$1,251,861,000” to “$1,243,289,000”,69 Stat. 309 and the authority to enter into contracts heretofore granted under this head is reduced by the sum of $8,572,000.
