Sec. 627. During the current fiscal year, appropriations available to the Department of Defense for research and development may be used for the purposes of section 4 of the Act of July 16, 1952 (66 Stat. 725), and for purposes related to research and development for which69 Stat. 320 expenditures are specifically authorized in other appropriations of the service concerned.
