Office of Defense Mobilization salaries and expenses For expenses necessary for the Office of Defense Mobilization, including newspapers and periodicals (not exceeding $500); hire of passenger motor vehicles; reimbursement of the General Services Administration for security guard service; and expenses of attendance at meetings concerned with the purposes of this appropriation; $2,285,000, of which $185,000 shall be available for the Interdepartmental Radio Advisory Committee: Provided, That contracts for not to exceed eight persons under this appropriation for temporary or intermittent services as authorized by section 15 of the Act of August 2, 1946 (5 U. S. C. 55a), may be renewed annually.
