FOREIGN CLAIMS SETTLEMENT COMMISSION
FOREIGN CLAIMS SETTLEMENT COMMISSION Salaries and Expenses For expenses necessary to carry on the activities of the Foreign Claims Settlement Commission, including services as authorized by section 15 of the Act of August 2, 1946 (5 U. S. C. 55a), at rates not to exceed $50 per diem for individuals; expenses of attendance at meetings concerned with the purposes of this appropriation; not to exceed $18,500 for expenses of travel; advances or reimbursements to other Government agencies for use of their facilities and services in carrying out the functions of the commission; hire of motor vehicles for field use only; and employment of aliens: $835,000, of which $265,000 shall be derived only from the war claims fund created by section 13 (a) of the War Claims Act of 1948 (Public Law 896, approved July 3, 1948) and not to be available for obligation after June 30, 1958.
