persons eligible under prior law Sec. 527. Persons who have a status which would, under the laws in effect on the day before the effective date of this Act, entitle them to the medical services, hospital and domiciliary care, and other benefits, provided for in this title, but who do not meet the service requirements contained in this title, shall be entitled to such benefits notwithstanding failure to meet such service requirements.
