Sec. 502. (a) Section 204 (b) of title 3 of the United States Code, as amended, is amended by striking therefrom “section 102” and inserting in lieu thereof “section 401”, and by striking therefrom “Salary Act of 1953” and inserting in lieu thereof “Salary Act of 1958”. (b) Section 405 of the Act approved June 20, 1953 (67 Stat. 72), as amended, is amended by inserting after the words “this Act” wherever it occurs in such section the following: “or the District of Columbia Police and Firemen’s Salary Act of 1958”.
