Botanic Garden salaries and expenses The appropriation for “Salaries and expenses”, for the fiscal year 1957, shall be available for payment of retroactive wage-board pay increases effective December 2, 1956, to those employees (commonly known as wage-board employees) whose compensation is fixed and adjusted from time to time in accordance with prevailing rates (5 U.
