Sec. 412. (a) The Secretary of Defense shall, on or before January 31, 1960, submit to the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives complete and detailed information with respect to the various types and kinds of aircraft, missiles, and naval vessels being procured by the armed forces of the United States, including the number of each type and kind procured and the cost thereof and the number of each type and kind proposed to be procured and the estimated cost thereof. (b) No funds may be appropriated after December 31, 1960, to or for the use of any armed force of the United States for the procurement of aircraft, missiles, or naval vessels unless the appropriation of such funds has been authorized by legislation enacted after such date.
