construction of surveying ships For necessary expenses for the design, supervision, construction, equipping, and outfitting of surveying vessels, as authorized by the Act of August 6, 1947 (33 U.S.C. 883i), $4,700,000, to remain available 74 Stat. 95until expended: Provided, That the unexpended balance of funds heretofore appropriated for “Construction of a surveying ship” shall be merged with this appropriation.
