Salaries and Expenses, Secretary of Defense For expenses necessary for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, including purchase (not to exceed five for replacement only, including two at not to exceed $2,900 each) and hire of passenger motor vehicles; and not to exceed $60,000 for emergency and extraordinary expenses, to be expended under the direction of the Secretary of Defense for such purposes as he deems proper, and his determination thereon shall be final and conclusive; $18,975,000.
