Property title
§ 2111. Property title (a) The Postmaster General shall take title, on behalf of the United States, to all real property purchased by him under authority of sections 2103–2105 of this title. (b) Section 175 of title 50 applies to the acquisition in fee simple of real property under sections 2103–2105 of this title, except that a lease-purchase agreement to acquire real property under sections 2104 and 2105 of this title may be entered into and placed in effect after request for but prior to receipt of an opinion of the Attorney General with respect to the validity of title to the real property described therein.
